1. About Sproutz
Sproutz is a family wellbeing app operated by Bizsaclabs Softtech Private Limited ("we", "us", "Sproutz"). It helps parents and children manage nutrition, pocket money, activities, chores, habits and gamified learning together. The app is designed for personal, non-commercial use by families.
2. Eligibility
You may use Sproutz only if you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old, OR you are a child using a kid-mode profile created and supervised by a parent or legal guardian.
- You have authority to bind yourself (and, if applicable, your family) to these Terms.
- You will not use the app in any country, region or manner prohibited by applicable law.
3. Family accounts & kid profiles
A parent account is the owner of the family workspace. Kid profiles created inside the family inherit the parent's permissions and are operated under the parent's supervision. The parent is responsible for the data, content and actions of every kid profile in the family.
4. Acceptable use
You agree NOT to:
- Upload illegal, harmful, infringing, or sexually explicit content.
- Scrape, copy or commercially redistribute any part of the app.
- Interfere with our servers, security or other users' accounts.
- Use the app to harvest personal information of other users.
- Use the app for any purpose that exploits or endangers minors.
5. Free trial, family plan & payments
- Free trial. Every new Sproutz family gets a free trial of 15 days, starting when the account is created. No payment is taken during the trial.
- What the plan covers. After the free trial, the Nutrition, Money (pocket money) and Activities features need an active Sproutz family plan. The rest of Sproutz stays available without one. One plan covers every parent and kid in the family.
- Price and automatic yearly renewal. The family plan costs ₹99 per year and is a recurring subscription: it renews automatically every year, and the yearly price is charged on each renewal date until you cancel. You renew at the price you subscribed at.
- When you're first charged. If you subscribe while your free trial (or a year you've already paid for) is still running, the first payment is taken when that period ends — you never pay for time you already have. Otherwise it is taken when you subscribe.
- Cancelling. You can cancel the renewal at any time before your renewal date from the Subscription page on the Sproutz website. You won't be charged again, and your family keeps access until the end of the period already paid for.
- No refunds. Payments are non-refundable, including for any unused part of a year. See our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
- Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, Nutrition, Money and Activities are locked until a payment succeeds. Your data is kept.
- Where the plan is managed. Subscriptions are purchased and managed on the Sproutz website. The Android and iOS apps show your plan's status and don't take payments.
- Payment processing. Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited using a recurring card or UPI mandate that you authorise at checkout. As required for recurring payments in India, you are notified before each renewal is charged. We receive confirmation of your payments but never store your card, UPI or bank details.
- Your plan is linked to your Sproutz family and works on every device its members sign in to.
6. Content you upload
You retain ownership of any photos, notes, food logs, or other content you upload. You grant Sproutz a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and process this content solely to operate the app on your behalf. We will not sell, rent or use your content for advertising.
7. AI features
Some features (e.g. nutrition insights, family insights, food lookup) call third-party AI providers. Inputs sent to these providers are limited to what is necessary to deliver the feature and we never include personally identifying details. AI output is informational and is NOT medical, legal or professional advice. Always consult a qualified professional for clinical or legal matters.
8. Disclaimers
Sproutz is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the gamification, reminders, allowance scheduling or AI features will produce specific results.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sproutz, its officers and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, use, goodwill or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of (or inability to use) the app. Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or INR 1,000, whichever is greater.
10. Termination
You may stop using Sproutz at any time and request account deletion by emailing us. Deleting your account stops future renewals of the family plan charged to your payment method; it doesn't refund payments already made. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or where required by law, with reasonable notice where possible.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified inside the app or by email. Continued use of Sproutz after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
